'' Having been trained by Dr. Hesami and having started off my nursing career at Burghfield Dental Care, this practice will always hold a special place in my heart.
Due to a genuine interest in dentistry, I always try and keep on top of my continuous professional development which I find of paramount importance in my job. Highly motivated and career driven, I'm always keen on taking extra responsibilities which help me grow as a dental care professional, my long term goal being Practice Management.
I trully enjoy being part of this team as there's mutual respect, we always try and support each other the best we can and we work well together. We're also extremely lucky to have a really friendly patient base, people we enjoy seeing again and again.
Outside of dentistry I like reading (always trying to keep a healthy balance between fiction and dentistry literature), baking, cinema, theatre, stand-up comedy shows, going to horse races, crochet etc. Badminton and tennis always help when I 'forget' to make use of my gym membership! ''

Sibon joined our team in 2010 and is currently working towards the National Certificate in Dental Nursing. Having been with us for 4 years, she got to know the majority of patients and she is thoroughly enjoying being part of the team.
Receptionist: CLARE HAMILTON
'' I have worked as Receptionist for Burghfield Dental Care for almost 10 years.
I came to work here first with Dr Sue Darby in September 2005 until she retired in 2007, and from then with Dr Hossein Hesami. It’s been a very quick, but thoroughly enjoyable nine years. During this time I’ve come to know many of our patients very well and look forward to seeing them to catch up on all their news.
In the spare time I have, I love to keep fit and enjoy running immensely. I try and get out for a run as often as I can. The countryside surrounding Burghfield has some great routes which I enjoy much more than slogging away on a treadmill.
I have a little Jack Russell called Pip who also loves to get out and about in the countryside, although I’ve yet to persuade her to join me on a run! She’s recently turned 14 years old but still has an air of mischief about her and keeps me and my husband on my toes!
I moved away from my native Scotland after I got married to Craig in 1993 and have now lived longer in England than I have in Scotland. I love living south of the border and have been lucky enough to meet some really fabulous friends along the way, although I miss my family very much. Having said that, we seem to have lots of Scottish visitors throughout the year so we can still keep up to date with family news.
In the years I have worked here there have been a few changes in members of staff. The team we have working here at the moment are a dedicated bunch of folk , putting the needs of patients first. We all work well together and enjoy the odd night out in Reading as a practice.
I hope to remain here as Receptionist for many years to come and look forward to new and interesting challenges within the practice.''
